1. Overview

The Social Work Department was established under Decision 181/QD-BVCCTW dated April 1, 2019, by the Director of the National Hospital of Acupuncture. As a unit with strengths in patient support and communication, the Social Work Department has achieved the title of "Excellent Labor Collective" for three consecutive years.

2. Functions and Tasks

• Support and advise on social work issues for patients, their families, and medical staff during the examination and treatment process.
• Provide information, communication, and legal education; mobilize and receive sponsorships.
• Support medical staff; provide training, professional development, and guidance on social work and community healthcare.
• Organize a team of social work collaborators for the hospital; organize charitable and social work activities of the hospital in the community.

3. Human Resources

The Social Work Department has a total of 13 staff members, including 03 with Master's degrees, 08 with Bachelor's degrees, 01 nurse, and 01 officer.
