Finance and Accounting Department

The Department has received the title of "Excellent Advanced Labor Collective" for six consecutive years and has been awarded the "Excellent Labor Collective" title for many years by the Ministry of Health and the Hospital Director.

1. Overview

The Finance and Accounting Department of the National Hospital of Acupuncture was established in 1982. The Department has received the title of "Excellent Advanced Labor Collective" for six consecutive years and has been awarded the "Excellent Labor Collective" title for many years by the Ministry of Health and the Hospital Director.

2. Functions and Tasks

• Prepare accounting documents, books, and a system of accounts according to regulations.
• Prepare budgets and operational plans for the hospital.
• Ensure the collection of hospital fees is sufficient and correct according to regulations; manage the hospital's supplies and assets.
• Develop internal spending regulations for each specific activity of the hospital.
• Periodically check the cash balance to ensure it complies with regulations.
• Organize inspections of the implementation of accounting work.
• Organize the preservation and storage of accounting documents and books according to regulations.
• Prepare financial statements, summarize assets, and conduct asset inventories.
• Synthesize financial information, analyze and evaluate the hospital's operational efficiency.
• Coordinate closely with relevant departments and rooms to ensure timely implementation and development of hospital plans.
• Coordinate with mass organizations to organize emulation movements and training sessions on current affairs, politics, culture, and foreign languages to improve medical ethics, spirit, and service attitude.
• Coordinate with functional departments/rooms to propose solutions to the Hospital Board of Directors for issues related to patients under social policies.

3. Human Resources

The personnel of the Finance and Accounting Department consists of 24 staff members: 03 with Master's degrees, 17 with Bachelor's degrees, and 04 with college and intermediate degrees.
