The International Cooperation Department is one of the units cooperating in scientific research and training both domestically and internationally on acupuncture.

The International Cooperation Department was established on November 26, 2014 under Decision No. 537/QD-BVCCTW.

The International Cooperation Department has twice received certificates of merit from the Minister of Health.

2. Human resources

Currently, the International Cooperation Department consists of 13 medical staff, including 01 Doctor of Specialized Grade II, 01 master, 03 doctors, 08 nurses.

Functions - missions

  • Advising the Director of the Hospital on the development of treatment and clinical practice training on Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine to enhance the development of international cooperation of Vietnamese Acupuncture.
  • Examination, treatment, rehabilitation by Acupuncture, Traditional Medicine combined with Modern Medicine for international and domestic patients.
  • Cooperating in scientific research and training (internationally and domestically) on Acupuncture and participating in line management.
  • Advising the Director of the Hospital to develop regulations for coordination with departments and offices to implement the combination of Traditional Medicine and Modern Medicine in medical examination, treatment, training, scientific research and international cooperation.
  • Fully implement professional regulations and technical standards on Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine issued by the Ministry of Health.
